- The cover photo is Reda Pauline Davis. She was born 4 Jun 1910, daughter of John Houk Davis and Mary Elizabeth Stanley, and granddaughter of Capt. Joseph W. and Freely A. Wallace. Reda appears to be about 6 years at the time of the photograph.
In 1900, the family consists of Fredey A. (Wallace) Davis,age 54 years, a widow; John H., age 21; Harvey H., age 19,; Minnie M., age 16; James S. Davis, age 33; his wife Liza, age 23; and their sons, Charles G., age 4, and Buston R, age 1. The family is not listed in the Anderson County 1910 census (Betty J. Phillips, transcription).
On 7 November 1931, Reda Pauline (age 22) and Clifford Farmer (age 28) both of Heiskell, were married in Anderson County, Tennessee by Rev. J. A. Demarcus.
