Interview with Mable's daughter, Jean Shell Bennington.

Jean said that her father (Condon) took Mable to Michigan (I don't recall if she told me whether they were married in Tennessee, Michigan or in route). Condon was continually checking his rear view mirror. She said that he was afraid that Mable's dad (Joe) had found out and was chasing them.
