Stokes of Jellico died at 11 a.m. Friday at Jellico Municipal Hospital. She was a member of Crouches Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Alfred Stokes of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Weaver of Decatur, Ill.; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Melvin Blankenship and the Rev. Carson Hatfield. Burial was in Douglas Cemetery. Ellison Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of arrangements.
