James Elbert Ford ?Jay? age 82, passed away, Friday, March 28, 2014 at Ben Atchley Veterans Home. He was a veteran of the United States Army and preceded in death by parents, Willie and Eulavie Ford, and brother, Wayne Ford. Survived by best friend of 40 years, Genevieve Tipton; daughters; Jamie Wilson and Janet Ford; sons, Darryl and Larry Ford of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kasey Cox and Kurt Cooper of Maryville. Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM Monday, March 31, 2014 at Asbury Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
