- FARMER, CLYDE ROSS - age 79, of Knoxville, passed away, Thursday, September 26, 2013. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and self employed well driller and former employee of Foote Mineral Co. Preceded in death by parents, Cliff and Reda Farmer; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Celia Elkins. Survived by wife of 58 years, Bernice; daughter, Sharon; son, Stanley; sister, Opal Lett and husband, Wendell; brother-in-law, Ray Elkins and wife, Gladys; nephew, Steve (Jennifer) Lett; nieces, Ann (Don) McFarland, Jonie (Rich) Gannon; many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Service 8:00 p.m., Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Herman Faddis and Dr. Bruce Marston officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery for interment at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Donnie McGinnis officiating.
