- SAVAGE, MRS. ANNA MAE (DOLL) - age 80, of Luttrell, passed away 6:45 p.m. Friday, May 28, 1999 at her home. She was a member of Luttrell Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 58 years, George H. Savage; son, Johnny C. Savage; daughter, Ellen June Savage; grandson, Teddy Leonard; great-grandson, Brandon Massengill; son-in-law, Hubert Scott; parents, Jim and Minnie Yadon; brothers, Rubel, Buck, Roy and Dick Yadon. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Gladys Scott, Faye and Kenneth Williams, Helen and Jim Jones, Brenda and Sidney Jessee, Linda and Ted Leonard; sons and daughters-in-law, George Allen and Norma Savage, Earl and Carolyn Savage, Rev. Paul and Imogene Savage, Rev. Jerry and Diane Savage, Rev. Harold and Velma Savage, Richard and Darlene Savage, Bobby and Karen Savage; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Ina Savage; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Fred Goodson and Rev. Teddy Mitchell officiating with music by The Thomas Family. Interment in The George H. Savage Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and sons-in-law. Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews, Sonny McBee and Willie Savage. The family would like to express special appreciation to Dr. Jack Benhayon and his staff, St. Mary's Hospice, Ann Miller and Marti Poole. The family will receive friends 6-10 p.m. Saturday at Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville.
