Services will be held at 2 P.M. tomorrow in McCarty's chapel for Kyle David Hancock, 19, who died Saturday from injuries suffered in a automobile accident July 17 near Oakman, Ga. while bringing his bride home to meet his family in Townsend.
His wife was reported in critical condition in an Atlanta hospital according to relatives.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hancock of Townsend. His father, formerly a driver for Knoxville Transit Lines, owns the Arrowhead Grocery.
Mr. Hancock had previously attended Holston High school, and had been in the navy for about a year.
Surviving in addition to the parents and wife are three sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Maxwell, Los Angeles; Gwenda and and Cynthia Hancock, Townsend; and two brothers, Leroy and Clinton Hancock, Townsend.
Dr. T. C. Wyatt will officiate and burial will be in Holston View Memorial Gardens.
