Ralph Thomas Jackson age 73 went home to be with the Lord April 4, 2016. He was a Locomotive Engineer with L&N and CSX Railway retiring after 30 years of service. He had two years college and served five years in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by mother: Bonnie Temple Paul Winget. Survived by wife: Serena Jackson; son Brett Jackson and wife Tina, Son: Brian Jackson; Daughter: Jennifer Merryman and husband Randy; Grandchildren: Noah Stambaugh, Natalie Stambaugh, Nathan Jackson; Sister: Jaqueline Harris; Brothers: Petie Sublett and David Sublett. Family and friends will meet at Mt. Olive Cemetery in South Knoxville 10:45 AM Thursday for Graveside Services at 11:00 AM with Rev. Caroll Golden officiating and Full Military Honors by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
