JESSEE, MARY ELNORA THOMAS (MAMAW JESSEE) - age 90 of Maynardville went to be with her Lord and Savior and her dear departed loved ones on Monday, October 8, 2007 at her home. She was a longtime member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and was a great inspiration for many young Christians. She retired from Levi Strauss and then worked full time for many years at being a Mamaw to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and to the children of her neighborhood and church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cas Jessee, daughter, Carolyn Smith, parents, Henry and Annie Yadon Thomas, granddaughter, Amy Nawy, great grandson, Josh Cooper, great great grandson, Dayton Corum and three brothers and three sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children and spouses, Joann and Kenneth Inklebarger, Louise and Jim Hubbs, and Gill and Mary Jessee. Surviving grandchildren and spouses are Debbie and Gerald Mason, Kenny and Vivian Inklebarger, Myra and Mark Farrington, Sherry and Wade Crider, Jimmy Davidson and fianc?e, Sue Monroe, Nicole and Allen Anderson, Marc Nawy, Angie and Verland Stout, Alicia and Johnny Russell, Cas and Beth Jessee, Jessee and Allison Smith; and special adopted granddaughter, Camella Nicely. Also surviving are 26 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Martha Hodge; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday at Ailor's Chapel with Rev. Burney Hutchinson, Rev. Jimmy Davidson and Rev. Kenny Inklebarger officiating. Interment New Loyston Cemetery. Great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 5-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ailor Mortuary in Maynardville. Our obituary line is (865)992-1114.
