• Notes

  "Mr. Harve", as is was affectionately called, taught school in Sevier and Jefferson Counties. He was a member of Sevier County Quarterly Court. He lived near the Oak Grove Methodist Church which was founded and the land given by his Grandfather Enoch Underwood. He was named for his maternal grandfather, Rev. James Green. [1]
