JONES, GENEVA UNDERWOOD - age 87 of Dandridge, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Jones; daughter-in-law, Kim Jones; son-in-law, Ben Knisley, Jr.; sister, Reta Stallings; brother, Hal Underwood. Survived by daughter, Jo Ann Simpson and husband Pat; sons, Dale Jones and special friend Patsy Newman, and Mike Jones and wife Belinda; grandsons, Mitchell Jones, Dennis and Phil Knisley; granddaughter, Shaine Malek; great grandchildren, Garrett, Ben and Raye Knisley; great-great granddaughter, Kyndal Knisley; sister, Ruth Creswell of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews and special friends. Special thanks to the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home and staff for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home (Special Projects Fund), 914 Industrial Park Rd., Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral services, Saturday, May 26, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Brady officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
