SNYDER, ELLA UNDERWOOD - age 89, of Kodak, Tenn., died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2001, at U.T. Medical Center. Member of Kodak United Methodist Church. She was retired from Levi Strauss. Preceded in death by husband, Boyd M. Snyder, parents, Alex and Ollie Bryan Underwood and five sisters. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Margaret S. and James A. Dulling of Strawberry Plains; step granddaughter and husband Renee and Grey Brewster of Loudon; step grandson and wife, James W. and Amy Dulling of Rockwood; step great-grandchildren, Nathan and Christy Brewster of Loudon and Zachary Dulling of Rockwood; brother-in-law and wife, Buford and Gertrude Snyder; sisters-in-law, Anna Lee Snyder and Trula Underwood, and several nieces and nephews. A chapel service will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday in Stevens Chapel, Rev. Ronnie White and Rev. Ronnie Bailey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Mortuary to go in procession to Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2 p.m. graveside service and interment, Rev. Tim Tatum officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thorngrove Baptist Church Building Fund, 10200 Thorngrove Pike, Mascot (TN) 37896. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at Broadway.
