  	Obituary, The Knoxville News-Sentinel June 2000 CHESNEY, LOUISE UNDERWOOD - age 84 of Knoxville passed away June 20, 2000 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by husband, Lonas L. Chesney; parents, James W. and Hulda Underwood; sister, Georgia Hickman; brother, Roy Bailey. Survivors include son and daughter in law, Dwayne and Lois Chesney of Strawberry Plains; grandson, Roger Chesney of Kodak; granddaughter, Jennifer Hackler of Knoxville; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Lorene Hickman of New Market; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2000 at McCarty Evergreen Chapel with Revs. Ronnie White and David Houser officating. Interment services will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The Chesney family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 21, 2000 from 7-9 p.m. at the McCarty Evergreen Chapel. McCarty Evergreen Chapel 7426 Asheville Hwy. in charge of arrangements.
