7/27/1901 - Atlanta Constitution - Page 9 -Death of Mrs. McWaters - - - Mrs. I. S. McWaters, who was born in 1817 and came to Atlanta in 1846, died yesterday at the residence of R. S. McWaters, 9 Connally street. She was the wife of the late A. H. McWaters, of Newton County and was eighty four years of age at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Paul's church and the mother of nine children, five of whom are now living - R. S. McWaters, J. F. McWaters, G. S. McWaters, Mrs. W. C. McDade and MRs. G. S. (Geo. C - Rachael Ophelia)Standard. The funeral was held from the McWaters home, on Connally street and the interment ook place at Oakland. The services were conducted by Rev. W. A. Dodge and Rev. H. L. Emerson. The following grandsons acted as pallbearers: Howard McWaters, Paul McWaters, Harvey McWaters, Fletcher McWaters, Walter M. McDade and Harry Standard.
