- Obituary for Bobbie Jean (Mamaw) Ford Crigger
Crigger, Bobbie Jean Ford (Mamaw)- born February 20, 1934 of Knoxville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday March 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Buffat Heights Baptist Church, where her faith in God showed thru her daily life. Mamaw had a forgiving heart, she loved life and her family, and was a caregiver to all. Member of the chapter #3 Knoxville Woodmen of the World. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulive and Willie Ford; brothers, Billy Wayne Ford and J.E. Ford; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mattie Crigger and Jesse Crigger. Bobbie is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Gene; children, Cathy Stephens and husband Randy, Carla Lawrence and husband Robbie, Jim Crigger and wife Cheryl, David Crigger and wife Kristi, and Randy Merrifield; grandchildren, Jessica Stafford, Amy Shipman and husband Joey, Rebecca Denton and husband Scott, Kevin Stephens, Annie Crigger, Sara Lewis and husband Daniel, Jason Crigger and wife Amanda, Martha Anderson and husband Derek, Christopher Merrifield, and Adam Merrifield; great grandchildren, Brayden and Eli Stafford, Kinleigh and Taytum Lewis, Skye and Serenity Crigger, Jacob Anderson, and Adalynn Denton; sister, Evelyn Randles; several nieces and nephews, and great friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday March 10, 2016, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Dave Thomas officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday March 11, 2016, at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment service. Pallbearers will be Randy Stephens, Robbie Lawrence, Joey Shipman, Kevin Stephens, Scott Denton, and Rick Randles. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Buffat Heights Baptist Church (2800 Mill Rd Knoxville TN 37924), and due to allergies the family request no perfume be worn.
