- COKER, NOAH FRANK - age 93. residence: 1716 Midway Rd., Strawberry Plains, husband of the late Vergie Covington Coker passed away Saturday at his home. Member of Thorn Grove Baptist Church. He was blacksmith for over 50 years, and a retired employee of Post and Co. Survivors: sons, Nathan Coker, Virginia, Marlin Coker; daughters, Miss Bernice Coker and Miss Nina V. Coker, all of Strawberry Plains; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; Brother, Burrell Coker. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday, Roberts Mortuary. Rev Homer Cate officiating. Interment, Thorn Grove Cemetery. Pall-bearers: Gerald Glenn, Melvin Branch, J.D. Coker, Bill Adkins, Victor Covington, Charles Farmer. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday at Roberts Mortuary
