- JONES, CHARLIE M. - age 92, of Halls Cross Roads, passed away Friday December 31, 2004, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a former resident of Sunnybrook apartments. Member of Faithway Baptist Church and was a local artist and a self employed painter. Preceded in death by parents, Fletcher and Mary Jane Jones and wife, Wanda Jones. Survived by sons: Robert and Mark of Powell and David of Oklahoma daughters: Juanita Headrick, Gail Whitson, Crystal Cable, Shelia Jenkins and Robin Wrinkle all of Knoxville and Donna Smith of Arkansas 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral service 8 pm Sunday at Faithway Baptist Church, Rev. Rick Passmore officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:15 am Monday and proceed to Halls Memory Gardens for an interment service at 11 am. Pallbearers will be grandsons. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Zion's Home of the Age 3430 Zion Rd. Knoxville, Tn. 37931. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Faithway Baptist Church.
