Obituary:
UNDERWOOD, CECILE B.- age 86 of Knoxville, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who passed away March 3, 2009. Preceded in death by husband, Jessie Leroy Underwood; an infant daughter; 7 brothers; 2 sisters and son-in-law, Ray Godfrey. Mrs. Underwood is survived by her son, Jessie Underwood, Jr. and wife, Jean; daughter, Sue Lee and husband Charlie; daughter, Judy Godfrey; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother, John Bruce and many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Friday at 12:45 pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 1 pm with Rev. Dallas Gibson officiating.
