JESSIE, MICHAEL DAVID - age 44, of Sevierville, died Sunday, May 9, 1999. He was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Twin Islands Motel. He was preceded in death by his father, Estel Lee Jessie; brother, Danny Lee Jessie; sisters, Rita and Terry Jessie; nephew, Thomas Christopher Davis; grandparents, Otis and Gladys Jesse and Arthur and Laura Cate. Survivors: wife, Mary Ellen Finchum Jessie; son, Michael David Jessie, II; sisters and brothers-in-law, Robin and Chris Davis, Sherry and Charlie Williams; mother and step-father, Trula Ann Huskey and Clarence; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Virgil and Blanche Finchum; step-brothers, Dan, Eddie, Gary (Tiny) and Jim Huskey; step-sisters, Jan Hensley and Ann Bryan; several aunts and uncles; special brother, Ennis Mills; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Kay and Mike West and Faye Holbert; nephews, Jessie Davis, Rankin Davis, Josh Davis and Eric Williams; niece, Dawn Holbert. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Dan King and Rev. Ron Jones officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday in Cate Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
