- BORDEN, NADINE HANCOCK DAVIS - 77, of Maryville passed away Tuesday evening, September 24, 1996, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Knoxville. Member of the First Baptist Church of Alcoa. Preceded in death by her first husband, Frank E. Davis. Survivors: husband, Fred Borden; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry W. and Deloris Davis of Knoxville, stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law, Carolyn and Kenneth Anderson, Lois and Robert Owens, all of Maryville; stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, James and Phyllis Borden, Harry and Janice Borden all of Maryville; grandsons, Frank Todd Davis, Roderick A. Davis and wife, Suzanne; great-granddaughter, Chelsea Davis, 11 step grandchildren, 15 step great-grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Gray of Knoxville, Leona Ammons of Knoxville, Fannie Patterson of Maryville, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home Chapel Rev. David Walker, Rev. Fred Cook, Rev. Richard Holden officiating. Family and friends will meet at Pollard's Cemetery in Sevier County at 11 a.m. Friday for the interment service.
