- WELCH, JACQUELINE D. - age 88, passed away on June 16, 2013 at her home. She was a member of Inskip United Methodist Church and Daughters of the Nile. Jacqueline loved her family and was an avid hockey enthusiast who held season tickets in Knoxville for many years. She was greeted at Heaven's gates by her husband of over 60 years, Teddie E. Welch, Sr.; parents, Samuel and Blanche Darr; son, Teddie E. Welch, Jr.; son-in-law Chester Wolfenbarger; granddaughter, Kris Love; and brothers, Bert and Sam Darr. She is survived by her daughter, Pam and husband Mike Roberts; daughter-in-law, Gail Welch; grandsons, Teddie E. Welch III, Rex A. Welch, Jason E. Welch, and Barron E. Wolfenbarger; granddaughter, Sabrina S. Wolfenbarger; great-grandson, Xzavier B. Welch; several nieces and nephews; and special caregiver Carla Molina. A Receiving of friends will be held at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 19th from 5:00-7:00 pm. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, June 20th at 11:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery with Mr. Lynn Kohler officiating. Grandchildren and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
