- Mr. Paul E. Humphrey, age 81 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was a member of the Glade Springs Baptist Church and retired from the Tennessee Forestry Division as a Forest Ranger, equipment operator and Forestry Specialist. Preceded in death by parents, Samuel Ben Ulysses Humphrey and Janie Hale Humphrey, sisters, Mary Graham and Lois Johnson, brothers, John, Jim, and Vance Humphrey.
Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Bonnie Williams Humphrey; son, Steve Humphrey and wife, Lisa all of LaFollette; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Mason, Leslie, and Travis; three great grandchildren, Bailey, Corbin, and Walker; sisters, Bessie Humphrey and Ruby Lindsay of Clinton. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday 2 P.M. at Glade Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Hobert McCreary and Rev. Chris Stanley officiating. Interment to follow at Glade Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at Walters Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Glade Springs Baptist Church. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Paul E. Humphrey.
