- LEAMON, RUBY L. HAYES - age 83, of Knoxville, passed away April 30, 1999, at home. Member of Ridgedale Baptist Church for 53 years. Retired from Standard Knitting Mills. Preceded in death by husband, Taylor Leamon; daughter, Glenda Prater; parents, Hack and Nora Hayes; and three brothers and two sisters. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Marlene Leamon of Harriman; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Ken Campbell of Knoxville; eight grandchildren, Robert, Tina, Wayne, Apryl, Greg, Angela, Amy and Justin; five great-grandchildren, Amber, Robbie, Roy, Thomas and Kendra; sisters, Trula Hayes of Powell, Zella White of Powder Springs, Elnora McGhee of Oliver Springs; brothers, Barnett Hayes of Halls and Ralph Hayes of Rutledge; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Mae Leamon; sister-in-law, Lillie B. Guffey of Athens; special friend, Alberta Douglas; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Sunday, Mynatt's Chapel. Nephews: Rev. Bobby Joe White, Rev. Tim McGhee officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt's by 10:30 a.m. Monday and proceed to New Gray Cemetery for interment, Bob Mize officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Mynatt's.
