Member of Block Springs Baptist Church, Blaine. Retired employee of Knoxville Glove Company and had been a route salesman for Wonder Bakery. Preceded in death by son, James Earl Pollard; parents, Hobert and Leona King Pollard. Survivors: wife, Leora Graves Pollard, Luttrell; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Ronnie Graves; granddaughter and husband, Shea and Chad Hightower, all of Corryton; sister, Lois Collier, Luttrell; brothers, Norman Pollard, Maynardville, David Pollard, Bud Pollard, both of Luttrell; several nieces, nephews and a host of special friends. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Horace Dyer officiating. Interment Community Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Chad Hightower, Greg Collier, Lee Pollard, Phil Pollard, Neal Pollard, Toby Burnett.
