- COKER, HARRISON EDWARD - age 86, of Powell, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at his home. He was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church, Beaver Ridge Lodge #366 F&AM, May Chapter O.E.S., U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, Retired from Rohm & Haas, Inc. Preceded in death by wives, Roxie Hensley Coker, and Sarah Andes Coker. Survivors: wife, Phyllis Underwood Coker, Powell; son, John Coker, daughter, Edna Hutchins, both of Knoxville; step-children, Sherril Coker, Houston, Texas, Carole Hutchison, Knoxville; seven grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet at Edgewood Cemetery 9:45 a.m. Saturday for graveside and interment service at 10 a.m. Rev. Perry Austin and Rev. Dudley Cockrum officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Brotherhood Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Home Health Hospice Program, 9000 Executive Park Drive, Knoxville, TN 37923.
