UNDERWOOD, WENDELL EUGENE - age 82 of Corryton went home to be with the Lord, October 15, 2009. He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 16. He was a Shriner and a 50 year member of Corryton Lodge. Preceded in death by: parents, Joe and Bonie Underwood; brother, Dennis Underwood, Sr.; parents-in-law, Ross and Janette Stormer; brothers-in-law, Bob Stormer, Earl Prater and Joe Henderlight. Survivors: loving wife of 34 years, Shirley Stormer Underwood; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Underwood, Dot Prater, Joann Henderlight and Barbara Stormer; loving nieces and nephews who were so special to him, Cheryl Benson, Ann Underwood, Jan Beretta, Dennie and Jody Underwood, Greg Prater and Mike Henderlight. Masonic service 3 pm Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Johnnie Beeler and Rev. Ronnie Beeler officiating.
