Samuel Mount

Notes:

Samuel Mount was a member of the Sevier County Quarterly Court and the
son of Humphrey Mount, Sr. This couple lived in the valley south of
Dumplin Creek on land willed to them or her by her father. This is a
part of the land George Underwood bought from Jesse Davis in 1839. This
deed is on file in the private collection belonging to Burl Underwood.

Samuel married Elizabeth "Betty" Underwood. Elizabeth (daughter of George Underwood and Elizabeth Kymes) was born about 1816. [Group Sheet]
