FOSTER, MARY "EDNA" KIRK - age 90 of Knoxville, formerly of Anderson County, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. She was a long-term member of Zion Hill Baptist Church of Anderson County and Eastern Star #369 of Andersonville, as well as an active member of the Halls Senior Center Bingo Club. She is preceded in death by: husband of 56 years, Roscoe W. Foster; father, James E. Kirk; mother, Rosa Lee Lewis Kirk; brothers, Edgar and Curtis Kirk; sisters, Georgia Kirk and Mabel Hansard. She is survived by: sister, Alby Fordham; sons and daughters-in-law, Erbie and Mary Foster, Jim Foster, Charles and Peggy Foster, Sam and Sandra Foster, all of Knoxville; grandchildren, Erbie Foster, Jr., Nancy Brock, Yvette Parker, Erick Foster, Chad Foster and Jill Johnson. She enjoyed 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. Service is 8 pm Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with Rev. Johnny Price and Rev. Charlie Tindell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 pm Sunday, December 31 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Zion Hill Cemetery for Interment service at 2 pm.
